Getting started
PrimaVista shows a note on the staff; you play it. The right key moves the score on; any other key lights up in red and you try again.
- With a piano: connect a digital piano or MIDI keyboard to the phone with a USB cable. The name of the instrument appears at the top right.
- Without a piano: the keyboard on the screen plays and sounds. Touch the key the blue thread points at.
- Choose a score: the library button, top left.
- Two notes at once: when a bass note sits under a melody note, press both, in either order.
- Settings, top right: note names (shown or hidden, C D E or do re mi), bass clef on or off, language, light or dark mode, colours.
Troubleshooting
- It says «No piano» with the piano plugged in: check that the piano is switched on and that the cable carries data, not only power. Many pianos need a USB-B to USB-C cable or an adapter; the phone must be the host.
- The keys on the screen do nothing: with a piano connected, the screen keyboard is only a map. Unplug the piano to play on the screen.
- No sound from the screen keyboard: turn up the media volume of the phone. Notes played on a real piano make no sound in the app: the piano has its own.
- I only want the right hand: Settings → Bass clef → Off.
- No announcements arrive: allow notifications for PrimaVista in the phone's settings.

Primeros pasos
